In 2014, the Italian bike maker released the Aprilia Mana 850 GT ABS. Unlike the base model, the GT ABS version packed an additional half-fairing with an adjustable windscreen and an anti-lock brake system for more controllability.
Also, the 2014 GT ABS model came with the same package as the previous one, delivering the same technical, visual, and performance specifications without any significant changes whatsoever.
The bike was characterized by some notable features, such as the half-fairing with an adjustable windscreen, a sports gear transmission with seven speeds and three mappings, a storage compartment for a full-face helmet, a mobile holder, a toolkit, a glovebox, and a 12V power socket.
It also packed the new latest generation two-channel Continental ABS system as standard, an adjustable lateral rear shock, an EURO3 compliant V-twin engine, brakes with radial calipers, a 43 mm inverted fork, a steel trellis frame, an aluminum swingarm, and an under-seat-mounted fuel tank.
In the performance department, the 2014 Aprilia 850 GT ABS had installed an 839cc four-stroke liquid-cooled V-twin engine between the wheels, fed by a Weber Marelli fuel injection system. The engine boasted 76 hp with a peak force at 8,000 rpm and 73 Nm (54 lb-ft) torque at 5,000 rpm.
The bike's front end was handled by a 43 mm inverted fork and two 320 mm stainless steel brake discs with four-piston calipers. In contrast, the rear end was controlled by an adjustable shock absorber and a 260 mm brake disc with a single-piston caliper.
