Being lighter and more powerful, with top-end handling and specifications, but also featuring all of Triumph's new T-plane triple performance cues, the new 2023 Triumph Tiger 1200 was designed to be the most agile and maneuverable large displacement adventure machine.
The Triumph 1200 Rally family was made to handle all terrain surfaces with 21-inch front and 18-inch wire-spoke wheels shod with tubeless tires. The Rally family included the Tiger 1200 Rally Pro, which carried a 20-liter fuel tank, and the Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer, which featured a larger 30-liter fuel tank for extended range.
An exclusive feature was fitted only on the Rally Explorer and GT Explorer models, such as the all-new Triumph Blind Spot Radar System, and two other features fitted as standard, like the heated seats and Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
The bike featured a tubular steel frame and a bolt-on aluminum rear subframe, with a 49 mm USD Showa fork on the front delivering 220 mm wheel travel and a preload-adjustable Showa monoshock on the rear, offering 220 mm wheel travel.
The 21-inch front wheel was fitted with two 320 mm discs and hydraulic calipers, while the rear 18-inch wheel packed a 282 mm disc engaged by a hydraulic caliper, delivering excellent stopping power.
As for power, the 2023 Triumph 1200 Rally Explorer took its muscles from a 1,160cc inline three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, delivering an output power of 150 hp at 9,000 rpm and 130 Nm (96 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.
The 2023 Triumph Tiger 1200 Rally Explorer was available with a price starting at $24,695.
