The Aprilia RSV4 is a super sport motorcycle produced by Aprilia from 2009, when it replaced the RSV 1000 R, until the present (2023). The bike was offered in two versions, the RSV4 Factory and RSV4 R limited edition, made in only 350 units.
The bike's production began in 2008 and was presented on February 22, 2008, at the International Piaggio Group Convention in Milan, Italy. The bike was powered by the company's first-production V-four-cylinder engine that Aprilia claims can produce over 200 horsepower in race configuration.
In 2013, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer launched the Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC ABS SBK SE, a special edition machine with improved performance and several new features.
The bike sported the same refinements and features as the 2013 Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC ABS but with an additional three-level dual-channel ABS made by Bosch, as well as Brembo M430 calipers.
Some other improvements included a refined Aprilia Traction Control (ATC), a revised engine position inside the frame for ideal weight distribution, engine friction reduction, improved crankcase ventilation, a new rear tire, a redesigned fuel tank with increased capacity, improved ergonomics, and a new satin headlight finish.
As for the power figures, the 2013 Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC ABS SBK SE had installed a 999cc four-stroke V-four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine at its core, boasting 180 hp at 12,500 rpm and 115 Nm (85 lb-ft) torque at 10,000 rpm.
