In 2023, the American motorcycle manufacturer launched the Arch Motorcycle 1S, which combined cruiser comfort with street sports performance for a machine that defies industry categorization.
The Arch Motorcycle 1S, alongside the KRGT-1 and Method 143, was categorized as an American performance cruiser with typical American style, the comfort and range of a cruiser machine, and sports bike performance.
The bike's aesthetic was represented by a round headlight on the front, a small fly screen, a single seat, a two-into-one exhaust system with a custom-made arched carbon fiber silencer mounted on the right side, a single-sided swingarm, and five-spoke carbon fiber wheels with Michelin Power RS tires.
The bike was built around a tubular steel frame with a CNC-machined aluminum subframe, packing a fully adjustable Ohlins FGRT fork on the front and a fully adjustable Ohlins shock absorber on the rear, providing excellent handling.
In the braking department, the bike packed two floating ISR discs tied to six-piston radial mount calipers on the front wheel and a semi-floating disc with a four-piston caliper on the rear wheel, delivering excellent stopping power.
As for the power figures, the 2023 Arch Motorcycle 1S had installed underneath its fuel tank a massive 2,032cc four-stroke V-twin fuel-injected engine that delivered 156 Nm (115 lb-ft) torque.
The bike's power was handled by a six-speed manual transmission with a compact dry clutch and sent to the rear wheel through a final chain drive.
