　　The 1978 MY Bimota KB1 has, at its heart, an air/oil-cooled, four-stroke, 1015cc, transverse four cylinder powerplant mated to a five-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 84 horsepower and 80 Nm of torque.

　　The key features for this race-bred machine would be the aerodynamic, full-fairing, a single seat, a large windscreen, the cast-aluminium wheels, a Brembo braking system with dual front disc brakes, an analogue instrument cluster, a large, round headlamp, and a suspension package composed of a 36mm Marzocchi telescopic fork and a De Carbon adjustable mono-shock in the rear.
