BMWR 850 R 1997 - 1998

　　The 1998 MY BMW R 850 R has been designed by the German engineers for those riders who want a gritty naked machine, yet also fuel-efficient, with the unmistakable sound and feel of a boxer engine, a four-stroke, air/oil-cooled, 848cc, two cylinder one paired to a five-speed manual transmission, that can reach a maximum power output of 73 horsepower and 77 Nm of torque.

　　It also boasts standard fittings such as a BMW Motorrad Telelever front suspension coupled to a Paralever rear unit, dual front disc brakes and a single disc in the rear, die-cast aluminium wheels, a spacious, 21-liter (5.5-gallon) fuel tank, analogue instrumentation dials, a round headlight, a dual seat and pillion grab rails.
