The 1930 BSA B30 has standard fittings such as a round headlight, wire-spoked wheels, a rear luggage rack, a chromed exhaust system with a large muffler, a single sprung seat, hard-tail rear, a spring-loaded girder front fork, mid-mounted foot pegs, a small fuel tank and a drum braking system. At its heart lies an air-cooled, four-stroke, 249cc, single cylinder engine mated to a three-speed manual transmission and can produce 2.5 horsepower at 3000 rpm.
