　　The 1998 MY Buell M2 Cyclone MK1 has standard features such as an under-belly exhaust system, for a lower center of gravity, a dual seat, a small wind protector, cast-aluminium wheels, a 43mm Showa telescopic fork coupled to a Showa adjustable mono-shock in the rear, front and rear disc brakes, a digital and analogue instrument cluster and mid-mounted foot pegs.

　　In the engine department it comes equipped with an air-cooled, four-stroke, 1203cc, V-Twin powerplant paired to a five-speed manual transmission that can reach a maximum power output of 94 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque.
