The 2001 Indian Dakota 4 is a machine designed for the nostalgic among Indian fans, being inspired from one of the most iconic Indian models of all time, the Indian Four from the inter-war era. It sports an air-cooled, four-stroke, 1845cc, in-line four cylinder powerhouse paired to a four-speed manual transmission, and can produce a claimed 74 horsepower and 168 Nm of torque. It also comes standard with a sprung, solo seat plus dual shock absorbers as a rear suspension, a telescopic front fork, laced wheels, pull-back handlebars and a chromed, round headlamp.
