Janus Motorcycles is an American motorcycle manufacturer based in Goshen, Indiana, USA. The company was founded in 2011 by Devin Biek and Richard Worsham and produced small-displacement motorcycles since 2013.
In the beginning, both founders started repairing, tuning, and restoring old pedal-type mopeds through Biek's aftermarket performance parts company, leading to their interest in small, lightweight motorcycles, resulting in the introduction of the Janus Motorcycles Company.
Over their production period from 2013 until the present, the Janus Motorcycles range comprised several models, including the Halcyon 50, Halcyon 250, Phoenix 250, Gryffin 250, and Halcyon 450.
In 2022, the American motorcycle manufacturer launched the Halcyon 250, a classic-styled motorcycle that resembled the 1920s and 1930s models. The bike featured a classic appearance but was fitted with somewhat modern technology.
The bike packed standard features, such as a round headlight on the front, a long, low fuel tank, a single sprung seat, a luggage rack, a single exhaust system with a silencer mounted on the right side, a side stand, and wire-spoke wheels.
The 2022 Janus Motorcycles Halcyon 250 had installed between its wheels a 229cc four-stroke single-cylinder air-cooled engine that delivered an output power of 14 hp with a peak force at 7,000 rpm and 16 Nm (12 lb-ft) torque at 5,500 rpm.
The 2022 Janus Motorcycles Halcyon 250 was for sale in 2023 at an MSRP of $8,800 as stock, but the price would go up depending on color schemes and different accessories.
