In March 2021, Janus Motorcycles unveiled the Halcyon 450. The maker offered current owners a chance to be the first in line to purchase the new Halcyon 450, offering the first ten units in an auction format.
These first ten units were referred to as First Edition models and were jammed with unique features, such as a hand-stamped serial number, a signed and numbered chain guard, an engraved fuel cap with a serial number, and a signed and numbered first edition print.
In addition, the special edition models were fitted with extra features at no additional charge, including a deluxe fuel tank upgrade, a double pinstripe design, a second mirror, leather saddlebags, a polished exhaust system, and pinstripes on the wheels.
In the visual department, the bike was fitted with standard features, such as a round headlight with instruments mounted on top, a long and low fuel tank, a single sprung seat, a dual exhaust system with a silencer on each side, and wire-spoke wheels.
In the braking department, the bike was fitted with a 280 mm disc tied to a dual-piston Brembo floating caliper on the front wheel and a 220 mm disc with a single-piston Brembo floating caliper on the rear wheel.
In the performance department, the 2022 Janus Motorcycles Halcyon 450 had its classic allure brought to life by a 445cc four-stroke single-cylinder air/oil-cooled engine that delivered 30 hp with a peak force at 7,500 rpm.
The 2022 Janus Motorcycles Halcyon 450 was for sale in 2023 with an MSRP starting from $14,900, with extra costs from various accessories and color schemes.
