With a great history in off-road racing, Kawasaki adds to its off-road line-up the new 2021 KX 250 XC. The new motorcycle was specially tuned and designed to perform under hard off-road conditions, such as both wood and desert race courses.
The new model keeps the performance and style features of the KX 250, but that’s when the XC comes into the picture with special engine tuning, suspension settings, and more standard features, such as a side stand and an engine protection plate.
The part responsible for driving the Kawasaki KX 250 XC through mud and sand is a 249cc, four-stroke, four-valve, liquid-cooled DOHC, high-revving engine, working in tandem with a five-speed manual gearbox.
For better performance and handling of the KX 250 XC, the lightweight frame is made of aluminum and uses the engine for better rigidity.
For the rider to have a good start, the KX 250 XC has a Launch Control option allowing the tire to gain more grip in the first few seconds. The model has a 270 mm front brake disc and KX450 master cylinder with XC brake pads, and a 240 mm rear disc offering a strong level of brake control.
At the time of writing (2022), the 2021 Kawasaki KX 250 XC was selling for $6,900.
