KTM890 DUKE R 2023 - Present
In 2023, KTM released the 890 DUKE R, a middle-weight naked motorcycle that took everything from the 790 DUKE and turned it to a higher level. It was a machine that could easily handle the race track and mountain roads with its more powerful and torquier parallel V-twin engine.
The KTM 890 DUKE R delivered excellent handling characteristics, just like the 790 DUKE, with its load-bearing tubular chassis design that offered extreme responsiveness. In addition, like every other KTM R, the 890 DUKE R had the frame painted orange to highlight its sporty credentials.
Also, the subframe was made of cast aluminum, housing the airbox without any plastic covers or additional brackets. The subframe was made of two connected pieces, which reduced the overall weight, while the triangular shapes offered a stiffer and more robust connection.
In the power department, the 890 DUKE R packed the same engine as the 790 DUKE but with an increased bore and stroke, providing a higher rpm limit and excellent power and torque. As for the power figures, the engine delivered 121 hp and 92 Nm (68 lb-ft) torque at 7,750 rpm.
At the rider's disposal, several electronic aids make the bike more controllable and fun, including the four-ride mode, such as Sport for more aggressive riding, Street that delivers more comfort on urban streets, Rain for slippery situations, and last one Track that releases all the available power.
The manufacturer released the 2023 KTM 890 DUKE R with a base price of $12,949. In addition, the machine was available with many power parts made available by the manufacturer.
