LAVERDA1000 Jota 1978 - 1979

　　For riders on the market for a more powerful naked machine, the Italian engineers from Laverda have designed the 1979 MY 1000 Jota. At its heart lies an air-cooled, four-stroke, 981cc, in-line three cylinder powerhouse paired to a five-speed manual transmission and can produce 97 horsepower and 90 Nm of torque. In addition, dual 280 mm front disc brakes coupled to a single 280 mm rear one will ensure that all that impressive power can be kept in check, without putting a strain on the rider.
