In 2023, the Australian electric motorcycle manufacturer released the Savic Motorcycles Alpha, a futuristic high-performance electric motorcycle fitted with a long-range lithium-ion battery pack and a liquid-cooled electric motor.
The bike was a product of Savic Motorcycles, a company based in Australia that manufactures high-performance electric motorcycles characterized by Australian riders as the perfect fusion of old-world appearance and future performance.
The bike didn't arrive alone but alongside its Delta brother, which had the same appearance but different specifications. The Alpha model was more powerful, offered better range, was faster, and more expensive.
The Savic Motorcycles Alpha has a futuristic look, packing a single seat with lumbar support, three-spoke lightweight wheels with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires, and a final belt drive.
The bike was built on a cast backbone frame with a telescopic fork on the front and a single shock absorber on the rear, offering excellent suspension performance and handling.
The bike's braking power was handled by two discs with Brembo M4 calipers on the front wheels and a single disc with a Brembo caliper on the rear, delivering excellent stopping power.
As for performance, the 2023 Savic Motorcycles Alpha packed an SM1 three-phase AC IPM electric motor that delivered 80 hp and 201 Nm (148 lb-ft) torque. With a 16.3 KWH battery capacity, the bike can run over 200 km and has a charging time of 4.5 hours.
In 2023, the Savic Motorcycles Alpha was for sale with an MSRP of $26,990.
