The Suzuki GSX-S1000 was a standard motorcycle manufactured by Suzuki since 2015, sharing the same engine as the GSX-R1000 manufactured from 2005 to 2008. The engine was re-tuned to deliver lower-end rpm torque, better for commuting and cruising at slower speeds.
In 2017, the bike was updated, featuring a more powerful engine, delivering 150 hp and 107 Nm (80 lb-ft) torque at 9,500 rpm. Other modifications included a slipper clutch and visual changes like black levers and footpegs.
In 2023, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer announced the new 2024 model year Suzuki GSX S1000GX, a motorcycle based on the GSX-S1000, sharing the same frame and 999cc four-stroke four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine.
The new Suzuki comes loaded with safety technology, including Suzuki Advanced Electronic Suspension (SAES), a system that electronically controls the bike's suspension system, providing the best riding experience depending on various factors, such as speed, road surface, and several more.
It also presented several visual modifications, including the addition of a new fairing and handlebar, best suited for sport riding. As for a more visual impact, the bike's seat rail, and engine were left exposed to the naked eye.
The manufacturer announced that the 2024 Suzuki GSX S1000GX will be available at the dealerships starting in the first month of 2024. The bike's price was not yet disclosed.
