In 2023, the British motorcycle manufacturer introduced the new Scrambler 1200 line-up for 2024, comprised of the Triumph Scrambler 1200 X and 1200 XE. The new 1200 X model is built to be more accessible, and the 1200 XE model has higher specifications.
Compared to the Previous Scrambler 1200 XC, the new 1200 X version was developed to deliver the specifications that customers requested, with a lower seat height, more competitive pricing, and a better road ride experience.
Tech-wise, the 2024 machine has new Marzocchi suspensions, a new optimized cornering ABS system, switchable optimized traction control, five riding modes, LED lighting, USB charging, a turn-by-turn navigation system, and Bluetooth phone and music capability.
Both motorcycles were available with three unique color schemes. The 2024 Triumph Scrambler 1200 X wore a rich Carnival Red, a cool Ash Grey, and a classic Sapphire Black color scheme. Also, the bike will be available at an MSRP starting at $14,450.
The 2024 Triumph Scrambler 1200 X has at its core a 1,200cc four-stroke liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine managed by an electronically controlled fuel injection system, delivering 90 hp with a peak force at 7,000 rpm and 110 Nm (81 lb-ft) torque at 4,250 rpm.
The braking power was handled by two 310 mm floating discs with two-piston Nissin calipers on the front wheel and a 255 mm disc with a single-piston floating Nissin caliper on the rear, with safety enhanced by ABS.
