In 2023, Triumph introduced the 2024 line-up comprising the new and more accessible Scrambler 1200 X and the updated, higher-specification Scrambler 1200 XE. The new XE is packed with the latest-generation Brembo Stylema calipers, a new suspension system with increased adjustability, better styling, and enhanced touring capabilities.
Some notable features on the new 1200 XE are represented by Brembo brakes, Marzocchi suspension, revised intake and exhaust headers, slimline LED indicators, a compact LED taillight, a high windscreen, and a rugged luggage system.
In the aesthetic department, the bike was fitted with standard features, such as a round headlight on the front, hand guards, a one-piece dual seat, a high-mounted dual exhaust system, and lightweight wire-spoke wheels.
The bike has a tubular steel frame with a 45 mm fully adjustable Marzocchi fork on the front, offering 250 mm wheel travel, and twin fully adjustable Marzocchi shocks on the rear with 250 mm wheel travel.
In the braking department, four-piston Brembo calipers acted on two 320 mm discs on the front wheel, and a single-piston Nissin caliper squeezed a 255 m disc on the rear wheel, offering excellent stopping power.
As for the power figures, the 2024 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE packs a 1,200cc four-stroke liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that delivers an output power of 90 hp with a peak force at 7,000 rpm and 110 Nm (81 lb-ft) torque at 4,250 rpm.
The 2024 XE model is available in Phantom Black with Storm Gray and red accents, Baja Orange with Phantom Black, and Sapphire Black. The bike will have a starting MSRP of $16,200.
