At its heart lies a powerful, air-cooled, four-stroke, 1731cc V-twin powerhouse paired to a six-speed manual transmission with overdrive, which offers a smooth power delivery throughout the rev range, as well as that extra kick needed for fast highway passes. It comes standard with color-matching hard, lockable saddlebags and Dual Kicker Premium speakers, AM/FM/Weather radio and iPod/MP3 input, which make it an excellent touring machine.

　　A special feature of the Cross Country is the paint and graphic scheme, a hand-crafted, limited edition Factory Custom Paint, offering a choice between a Suede White Frost, Suede Titanium Metallic, Gloss Titanium Metallic, Suede Black with Red Pinstripes, Havasu Red with Black Flames or a Two Tone Suede Sunset Red Over Black.
