The Bentayga SUV has been an unqualified success for Bentley, emerging as the automaker's best-selling vehicle. We love it too — after a significant refresh in 2021, the Bentayga rose to the No. 2 slot in our list of the best super luxury SUVs thanks to its exceptional comfort, blistering performance, and impeccable interior materials and design. The Bentayga doesn't really have many faults, though we will admit it doesn't have the enormously spacious interior that you'll find in the Flying Spur or the old Mulsanne.

Bentley is fixing that with the new Bentayga Extended Wheelbase. The Bentayga EWB adds over 7 inches between the wheels, giving the midsize crossover the vast amount of rear legroom that you'd expect of a Bentley. Unfortunately, the Bentayga EWB is only available with two rows of seating. In addition to feeling more like a Bentley, the long-wheelbase option helps the Bentayga better compete against its rivals like the extended-wheelbase Land Rover Range Rover as well as the Mercedes-Maybach GLS and its expansive second row of seating.
The Bentayga EWB really is just a stretched version of the regular Bentayga, sans a few things like optional powertrains or a third row. Features and options are generally the same, and Bentley offers the same level of customization you'll find on any of its other models. There are a seemingly endless number of paint, interior, wheel and trim combinations to choose from. Read more below on the Bentayga EWB, and note super luxury SUVs.
Which Bentayga EWB does zzdcar recommend?
While the Azure trim offers a bit of brightwork and other touches to make it stand out, the Bentayga EWB V8 offers more than enough. Plus, with the seemingly endless number of options and customizations, you can tailor the Bentayga to your own particular taste.
Bentley Bentayga EWB models
The 2023 Bentley Bentayga EWB is available in two basic flavors: EWB V8 and EWB Azure V8. As the names suggest, the Bentayga EWB is only available with a twin-turbocharged V8 engine (542 horsepower and 568 lb-ft of torque) paired with an eight-speed automatic. If you really want an SUV with Bentley's W12 engine or a plug-in hybrid powertrain, the super luxury SUVs is the only way to go.The Bentayga EWB is available in three-seating configurations. First, there's the 4+1 that offers adjustable buckets for the rear outboard seats plus a small seat in the center. Next, Bentley offers a regular four-seat model that ditches the rear center seat for a built-in console. Finally, you can option the Bentayga in a five-passenger configuration with a regular rear bench seat. Unlike the standard Bentayga, there's no three-row option.
