　　Compared to newer vans, the 2023 Chevrolet Express is well behind the times. It's not as efficient, maneuverable or versatile as its rivals. On the plus side, it's more affordable, and its reliance on muscle over smarts allows it to tow up to 10,000 pounds, a feat matched only by the related GMC Savana. For 2023, the Express loses its diesel engine option but is otherwise unchanged. Again.

　　If budget and towing are your primary concerns, the Chevy Express could be a good match, but if your requirements for a commercial van stray anywhere beyond those two realms, you'd be better served by one of its few competitors.
