DR MOTOR
DR Motor Company was founded in 2006 by Massimo Di Risio, formerly in charge with various vehicle imports into Italy, including the Saleen S7 supercar. Based in Macchia d’Isernia, Italy, DR Motor has five models on offer and produces about 100 vehicles per day. Almost all the company’s models are based on automobiles manufactured by Chinese automaker Chery, including the Chevrolet Spark-based QQ city car, the A1 supermini and Tiggo crossover SUV. DR Motor launched its first vehicle, the DR5, in November 2007, while the DR1 and the DR3 followed through 2010. The company’s latest effort, the DR CrossCity, was unveiled in August 2013.
