2023 Lincoln Corsair Review

The Lincoln Corsair is the American luxury brand's small SUV, slotting below the midsize Nautilus and bigger three-row Aviator. It's one of those SUVs that doesn't really stand out in any one way, but it's good enough that you wouldn't talk a friend out of buying one. And things are looking a bit brighter for the 2023 Corsair thanks to a comprehensive round of upgrades to make it a more appealing option.

Avg. Midsize SUV
You can spot this year's Corsair by its exterior face-lift that includes a larger front grille and redesigned headlights. The entry-level model also gets a significant tech injection, with a new standard digital instrument panel and a larger 13.1-inch central touchscreen inherited from the Aviator.
Also trickling down from the Aviator is Lincoln's ActiveGlide advanced driving assistance system. Essentially just Lincoln's name for parent company Ford's Super Cruise, ActiveGlide allows for limited hands-free driving on the highway. That feature is available as part of a pricey optional package. Other changes include a new optional cabin filtration system, standard adaptive cruise control across the board, and the discontinuation of the available 2.3-liter turbocharged engine. The top-trim Grand Touring is still offered exclusively as a plug-in hybrid with 266 horsepower and a 28-mile all-electric driving range.
The Corsair competes with other compact luxury SUVs, including the Acura RDX, Cadillac XT4, Lexus NX, Genesis GV70 and others. We like the Corsair for its responsive driving experience, generous feature content and surprisingly opulent interior. It's not perfect, but the Corsair is definitely worth a look if you're in the market for an upscale small crossover.
Which Corsair does zzdcar recommend?
For the best blend of luxury and value, we recommend the midlevel Reserve trim. That model gets you 19-inch alloy wheels, genuine leather seats, a power tilt steering wheel and more. All Corsair models now come standard with the Co-Pilot360 suite of advanced safety features, which includes adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assistance.
