MARUSSIAB2 2010 - Present
The Marussia B2 is a sport car produced in Russia by the automaker Marussia Motors.
Two versions were manufactured and the only difference between the B1 and B2 is the design.
The sportscar is made entirely out of carbon fiber and has an aluminum chassis.
They are both equipped with a V6 engine producing between 300 and 420 HP. The declared top speed is 310 km/h and the car allegedly reaches 100km/h in 3.8 seconds.
The B2 comes with a more aggressive look than its predecessor and was first shown in public in 2009 at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The car cost around 100.000 EUR and only 500 units were produced and sold by 2012.
Both versions are quite unique considering the exterior and mostly the interior equipped with touchscreens working on the Intel 2 Duo processor. 3 monitors were added to the dashboard to display vehicle performance and other entertaining content.
The B2 appeared in Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Asphalt 7 and 8.
The russian producer joined the Virgin Racing Formula One team in 2010 and competed from 2012 to 2014 when the team ceased its operations.
The company had ambitious plans for the future and was expected to present 7 models at the Frankfurt Motor Show – a new coupe, an SUV and a luxury sedan.
Although making a promising sports car, the manufacturer closed its gates in 2014.
