RENAULTTalisman Estate 2016 - 2019
Renault introduced the Talisman Estate in 2016 on the large station wagon segment market. After the launch of the sedan in 2015, the new version is proposed for families who want more luxury from their family mover. With interior space of up to 1700 liters (60 cu. ft) with the rear seats folded and a 2.05 m (6.5 ft) long loading space, the Talisman station wagon may be more useful for those who want to go on long trips and have half their closet with them.
Inside, connectivity is the new trend, and Renault followed through. Like the sedan version, the estate offers the R-Link 2 connected multimedia tablet, available either as a 7” landscape format or an 8.7” portrait. The system comprises the infotainment unit with vehicle settings, Tom-tom navigation, climate controls, audio settings, and telephony connection. It supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The tablet can be accessed via the rotating knob on the center console, steering wheel buttons or via a touch-screen.
For the engine compartment, the Talisman Estate was equipped with various units in 4 cylinders only, turbodiesel or gasoline. For some markets, Renault also offered LPG versions. The power ranges between 110 hp for the 1.6 dCi turbodiesel unit and goes up to the 1.8 TCe with 200 hp. Transmissions offered are either 6-speed manuals or a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
