Kevin J. Ness, brother of famed motorcycle builder Arlen Ness, has died after being hit by another vehicle on I-80 outside of Reno, NV on July 30.

, Ness was traveling eastbound on 80 on his 2008 Victory Vision when a Camry driver swerved to avoid hitting a car in congested traffic. Instead, the driver sideswiped a PT Cruiser he didn't see, which was pushed into the next lane where Ness was riding.

Ness sustained multiple injuries and died at a local hospital five days later. Investigations are currently underway.
