The Audi A1 Clubsport Quattro is a one-off showcar that is packed to the brim with performance and will be presented at the Wortherseetour 2011 in Austria.
Under the hood the Audi A1 Clubsport Quattro comes with a 2.5 litre, 5-cylinder turbo charged engine with direct fuel injection. The engine is capable of pushing out 370 kW (503 hp) and 660 Nm of torque. Adding to the list of tuned items, the turbocharger, intercooler, admission tract and exhaust have also been further enhanced for performance.
To further improve performance, the Audi A1 Clubsport Quattro has maintained a low weight, clocking in at just 1390 kg. According to Audi; the car completes 0-100km/h in just 3.7 seconds and 0-200km/h in 10.9 seconds, some truly impressive stats. The Audi A1 Clubsport Quattro takes its 6-speed manual transmission and permanent all-wheel drive from the TT RS and improves on them, which results in a governed top speed of 250km/h.
The exterior and interior has also undergone some work. The front fenders, doors and rear side panels have been widened by 60 millimetres total to form horizontal blister edges. The roof spoiler features a double wing to provide downforce and to further enhance the racing feel; the rear seat has been replaced by a large crossbar to enhance the structure of the body.
