New Alfa Romeo MiTo Range Launched
New Alfa Romeo MiTo Range Launched-April 2024
2023-12-14 EST 02:30:54

The newAlfa Romeo MiTo range has been re-designed to be far more accessible, attractive and simple. They have done this by reducing the number of variant options to choose from, as well as reducing the price and simplifying things all-round. Currently there are 17 MiTo versions available and this can obviously be confusing to a buyer and make it difficult to know which to choose from as well as even knowing what the differences between the models even are.

Less options but more engines for new Alfa Romeo MiTo

The MiTo sports compact range has been refined to 9 models; the Turismo and Lusso variants have been replaced with the Sprint, with the entry level version now called the Progression. The Veolce and Cloverleaf variants have been replaced by the Distinctive and Quadrifoglio Verde.

There are also 3 new engine options available. First up there is a 1.4 litre engine that produces 78hp which is low on CO2 emissions and fuel consumption, with StartStop as standard. Secondly there is a 1.4 litre MultiAir engine that produces 105hp for improved performance. Lastly there is a 1.3 JTDM-2 (only available in the Sprint option) which produces 85hp but importantly clocks in at 95g/km of CO2 emission, which means it falls under the CO2 tax bracket.

These are some welcome changes and should make the decision when buying a new Alfa Romeo MiTo a lot easier. Lastly there is also a new paint option; Metal Bronze. This new Alfa Romeo MiTo range will be available in the UK next month but should be hitting South African dealerships soon after that.
