Nice Price Or Crack Pipe: 2,450-Mile 1985 Mazda RX-7 For 15 Grand?
Nice Price Or Crack Pipe: 2,450-Mile 1985 Mazda RX-7 For 15 Grand?-April 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:10:20

You know how most first-gen RX-7s got blown up, wrecked, or otherwise hooned to death, with the slowly fading into beaterness? Not this one!

Now, yesterday we saw a 69% Booth Numbah Two recommendation on the , and now we're looking at a car from the same era that's priced at six grand more… yet I suspect we're going to see a little more enthusiasm for the price tag on this pristine example of Wankel history. It's for sale by the original owner. It's a California car, and it was always garaged. The odometer hasn't even hit 2,500 miles yet! It's been bid up to nearly 10 grand by now, but anyone willing to fire a big $15,000 Buy It Now cruise missile right this minute can take it home ASAP. Is it worth it? You decide!

, thanks to for the tip.

The overwhelming majority of voters thought that the Callaway '83 Porsche 944 was reasonably priced

For $3,700, is this Peugeot a sweet 16?
Due to attrition, French cars in the U.S. are becoming as rare as poule dents, Today's Peugeot 405 Mi16 could make sightings in someone's neighborhood a lot more common, but only if its price proves uncommonly good. Something else that's rare is a day when one of our candidates claims...

For $29,888, drop an f-bomb
Buying one of the F-Bomb Camaros certified to have appeared in The Fast & Furious 4 might be da-bomb. But when you find out today's car is not the 1,500-hp twin turbo version, you might just drop an f-bomb of your own. Wesley Morris, film critic for the Boston Globe,...

For $11,995, go topless on the Riviera
The sixth generation of Buick's Riviera, represented several firsts for GM's personal coupe - first front wheel drive platform, first Indy pace car, and first convertible. Today's Riviera is one of those drop tops, but does its price need to drop as well? Of course being both fast and furious...

For $7,000, is this a killer B?
The U.S. has seen a number of British invasions, the best one being the MG-led post-WWII invasion by English sports cars. Today's MGB-GT is ready to invade your driveway, but will its price call off the attack? Ebola, Gonorrhea, Donald Trump's attention - according to you there are apparently worse...

2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe: First Drive
BMW 1 Series M Coupe I told myself I would hate the because no parts bin-built Bimmer could ever be worthy of the M-Sport badge. Right? Of course. I knew I would hate the "." I had to. But did I? Disclaimer: BMW wanted us to drive the 1 Series...
