This pre-production prototype was spotted in Scandinavia undergoing winter testing and there are very few clues that this is a Mercedes-Benz. It appears to be the coupe version and a convertible derivative is expected as well (we should see the newcomers maketheir public debuts in about two years time), so expect an arrival in South Africa around 2018.
The model line-up will feature turbopetrol, turbodiesel and petrol-electric hybrid powerplants as well as a raft of technology features and autonomous driving systems.
The standard Mercedes-Benz E-Class will be launched in February/March 2016 and we'll be attendingthe event in Portugal. Read more about the E-Class here.
