Now that the film franchise has gone from that movie that made you do burnouts in the parking lot with your ‘97 Civic EX, to a full-fledged international juggernaut, car collectors will be looking to get a piece of the action. Now is your chance to own the “10 second” Supra that started it all.

The 1993 Toyota Supra stunt-car was custom made for the film and built by Eddie Paul at the The Shark Shop in California. It will be up for bid at the , with an estimate between $150,000 - $200,000.

Like most movie cars, the performance is more impressive on screen than in real life. This Supra has a naturally aspirated (!!!) 2JZ-GE 3.0-liter inline-six motor with 220hp, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. So if you are looking for the orange monster that could “decimate all” at Race Wars and allow you to shift thirty-seven times, it is going to be a bit of a let down.

What you will get is an iconic car with a lot of show, and not much go. It does have a set of NOS bottles that are not connected to the motor, and comes complete with a body kit, wing, and stickers galore that you would expect from a 90’s tuner car.

Of course you could probably buy a handful of 355 Spyders for the same price, but all this Supra would need is some overnight parts from Japan to transform it into the on-screen legend that had us all get subscriptions to Sport Compact Car magazine.
