Two 'Ultimate' Ferrari Testarossas Are Going Up For Auction
Two 'Ultimate' Ferrari Testarossas Are Going Up For Auction-April 2024

Maybe it’s kind of a basic bitch thing to say, but my favorite Ferrari is still the . If you came of age in the 80s and 90s like I did, the Testarossa and the Lamborghini Countach are still the ultimate “poster cars.” If you’ve got some serious coin lying around, you can buy two of the greatest Testarossas ever.

Silverstone Auctions’ May Sale on May 23 will feature two very cherry Testarossas that represent the beginning and the end of the car’s lineage. Silverstone is billing them as two “ultimate versions” of everyone’s favorite cocaine-tacular Ferrari. They’re both yellow, too, in case that’s your thing.

featuring the ultra-rare single flying high side mirror and 18-inch “knock on” wheels, making it among the most sought-after Testarossas out there. First delivered to a Swedish customer, it was repainted from white early in its life to Giallo Fly Yellow and has been rigorously maintained over the years.

Yellow’s not my thing, but this redhead sure is purdy. Silverstone estimates it could go for £80,000 to £100,000. Wanna give it a good home?

The second one’s a little different and a little newer. , the final version of the Testarossa, made for just two years and in just 501 copies. The F512 M featured fixed headlamps, NACA ducts and interior tweaks, but the same glorious 4.9-liter flat-12 engine.

This copy has had just two owners over the years, and it recently returned from Japan with a comprehensive service history, There’s a mere 11,000 miles on the odometer.

I definitely prefer the looks of the pre-F512 M Testarossas, but I can’t argue that this car isn’t a rare and wonderful collector’s fine. Silverstone seems to agree, as they say it will fetch between £280,000 and £330,000.

Check out . Any takers for the two Testas?

I Ordered A Carbon-Fiber Roof For My Porsche 996 Turbo And I Might Throw Up A Little
I bought maybe the cheapest Porsche 996 Turbo—that’s right, —on the market a year ago, and I’ve mostly been happily stacking miles on the odometer since then. I have been working on making the car my own with a period-correct set of wheels, some extra carbon trim, and a...
