You Can Buy This Freaking Porsche 997 For The Price Of A Ford Focus ST-April 2024

Remember the feeling you got on your birthday as a child, unwrapping gifts and having everyone sing your praises? Now imagine that you can harness that sense of pure joy and call upon it every time you step into your garage. is exactly that - your best childhood birthday, from concentrate.

isn't a lot of things. It isn't an unwanted near-beer Boxster. It isn't the 996 with headlights lights that look like runny eggs with a LEGO Duplo-inspired interior. It also isn't some salvage title car that just happened to be mended enough to take a few good pictures. It has a 325 horsepower, 3.6 liter flat-6 engine and a six-speed manual gearbox, with every indicator that this Porsche is as modern as any you'd find in the showroom. You think the Ultimate Driving Machine is a BMW? Meet its driving instructor.

There is a catch, but it's a small one - the mileage. It's a car with around 115,000 miles, about average for a decade-old car, but on the high side for something with a Porsche badge. However, this shouldn't scare anyone, as the car looks to have been taken care of well by its three previous owners and carries a very clean history report. Here's an excerpt:

Options include BOSE premium audio, sunroof, auto deploy rear wing, CD/CD changer, navigation, 19" premium wheels. Runs awesome, no accidents (clean CARFAX), no dents, no dings, no scratches, some very minor small stone damage on front bumper. Clear title in hand. If interested, please come inspect the car (proof of identity and purchasing ability required for test drive)

There is no reason this Porsche shouldn't be the exotic daily driver everyone wishes to have. Yes, it can have IMS bearing issues, but at this price and mileage, I would either get a third party warranty, or so I'd have a completely worry-free engine. There are zero 911s for this price, in good shape, so anyone in the market for a car that will light their socks on fire should jump on this deal before someone with less business sense does and then runs it into the ground. .

I Ordered A Carbon-Fiber Roof For My Porsche 996 Turbo And I Might Throw Up A Little
I bought maybe the cheapest Porsche 996 Turbo—that’s right, —on the market a year ago, and I’ve mostly been happily stacking miles on the odometer since then. I have been working on making the car my own with a period-correct set of wheels, some extra carbon trim, and a...
