Details for the upcoming 2013 BMW X1 have been released along with imagesof the face-lifted vehicle. Packages available for the new X1 will include the Sportline, the xLine and the M Sport Package.
The 2013 BMW X1 model range has been extended with 11 variants in total to choose from. The list is comprehensive, from the BMW X1 xDrive28i which produces 180 kW and has a max torque of 350Nm (0-100km/h in 6.1 seconds) to the sDrive 16d 4-cylinder diesel engine that produces 85 kW and 260Nm of torque (0-100km/h in 11.5 seconds). Fuel economy ranges from around 4.5 litres/100km to 7.7 litres/100km depending on the model variant.
The 2013 BMW X1 will come with a host of impressive features and standard equipment. The list includes; climate control, heated exterior mirrors, fog lamps, onboard computer and more. Optional equipment comes in the form of a Harman Kardon Surround sound system, panorama glass roof, automatically dimming exterior and rear-view mirrors, rain sensor, and a heated steering wheel to name a few.
Going even further down the list, there are a number of optional driver assistance systems to choose from, these include High-beam assistant, adaptive headlights, rear-view camera, cruise control, internet connectivity, real-time traffic info and BMW apps.
The new BMW X1 goes on sale in South Africa from September.
