The lights on top of the front fenders and taillights look lifted right off Nissan's coupe. Besides a few other interesting design features like this leather-trimmed airplane pillow mounted above the gauges, the rest of the Juke's look is pretty familiar.

Engine and trim details for the American market have not yet been released, but European Jukes will get two engine options with 2WD or 4WD drivetrains, a new 1.2 DIG-T making 115hp and 140 lb-ft of torque, plus a revision to the the existing 1.6 DIG-T to improve low-end torque delivery below 2,000 RPM through a higher compression ratio and internal friction reductions.

Both engines come paired with a six-speed manual, with Nissan's Xtronic CVT optional in the 1.6 4WD.

A new NISMO RS has been confirmed for Europe and will be available in 4WD and 2WD, with 218hp, upgraded brakes, a stiffer body, and a limited-slip differential in 2WD variants. I expect this will return to the US as well.

But the most apparent upgrades are in the Juke's technology. Nissan's Around View Monitor displays a real-time 360º third-person top-down view of the car on the infotainment screen for easy maneuvering, and those cameras work in conjunction with radar and sensors to provide drivers with lane departure, blind spot, and other such alerts.

A lovely part-opening panoramic sunroof will be an option as well, for those who want to look up instead of down.

Interior upgrades beyond the infotainment screen Nissan has squeezed some extra space from the the cargo compartment in 2WD models, now up to 12.5 cubic feet.

I'm sure the styling of the US-spec 2015 Nissan Juke will be exactly as you see it here and I imagine the accessories will be the same, we'll just have to wait and see what engines Nissan has in store for us stateside.
