Despite Land Rover's Solihull factory cranking out Range Rovers 24 hours a day, the waiting list for a 2014 model is as long as four months in parts of the US.
"It is amazing how many people have owned five, six, seven Range Rovers," Land Rover brand president Kim McCullough told . "That is a vehicle they consistently have in their household fleet. We have a lot of loyalty."
Sales of the various Range Rover models went up almost 56% in the US last year, with Land Rover sales increasing 13% across the whole lineup. People seem to talk about the "waning popularity of SUVs" every year, but Land Rover ain't seeing it yet.
