Bless us, each and every one, for it is time for one of the most hallowed of internet traditions: the Nürburgring wipe-out supercut. Behold, the most insane wrecks and fails of 2016 straight from the Green Hell.

Driving the ‘Ring is the gearhead bucket-list item, as the entire Nürburgring area is like . That being said, the track suffers no fools, particularly on its Nordschleife course, which is infamously to drive like the world’s most hellacious toll road.

Those touristenfahrten sessions on the Nordschelife attract everyone from longtime racers who are pushing the highest limits of their and talent to Some Guy who drove the ‘Ring on Forza a bunch. Some of these clips also come from VLN races, which attract and can produce their own brand of track mayhem.

Nobody’s perfect, and I think we all know deep-down that we could end up on one of these compilations someday, even if you’re in the at track days back home. But for now, let’s dive into the fascinating supercuts of other people who got it wrong or had an oops in 2016.

While some of these look like they hurt, fortunately, these ‘Ring crash supercuts avoid featuring incidents involving serious injury and death.

You really have to feel for the guy who crashes his work van, not to mention that poor guy who almost gets . Lest Jalopnik fail to make the cut, there’s also a clip of Dale Lomas’ in the mix.

Rallyeoberehe included a few wins in their 2016 mega-cut, including several Code Brown Defcon 42 and a hatchback who harnesses his inner Takumi Fujiwara to hold some sweet sideways action around a turn. Oh, and let’s not forget the grey hatchback that seems to defy physics to land on his wheels.

Like rallyeoberehe, Nürburgring Racing Videos opted to include some fantastic drifts and nerve-wracking close calls in with the wrecks, including a BMW wagon wagging its tail and a flame-shooting Honda S2000.

Last but not least, Eifeler888 put together this ultra-cut of spectacular offs simply titled “The only bad thing about the Nordschleife is the black shit in the middle of the track.” We’re not sure it’s a 2016-specific compilation from its description, but it was too good not to include here.
