The two-day "Rage At The River" desert race in Laughlin, NV wrapped up on December 15th, and got some cool footage of the action.
The Southern Nevada Off-Road Enthusiasts (SNORE) who organize the event call themselves simply "a family of off road desert racers helping to promote desert racing", but they put on one hell of a racing series.
Rage At The River was their sixth competition in 2013, and dates for another six are already set for next year.
SNORE races only last two days, making them a sprint relative to most desert rallies. Rage At The River takes place over a mere 13 mile loop, so spectators have a much easier time getting a good look and competitors don't have to focus on endurance.
The next event on the SNORE schedule is the "BeeHive Sports Bar Battle" in Primm, Nevada in the last weekend of February.
