'Championship-Winning Double Burnout' Is The Best Phrase I've Typed All Year
'Championship-Winning Double Burnout' Is The Best Phrase I've Typed All Year-October 2024

The Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge held its final race of 2016 today at Road Atlanta, finally deciding a close-fought season championship. The two race winners turned out to be the season champions themselves and came together at the end to smoke some tires.

Spencer Pumpelly had clenched the ST-class championship title for the No. 17 RS1 Porsche Cayman, opting to do some tidy donuts next to Johnson’s elevenses.

He even stopped to do burnouts alongside the C360R’s Ford.

That Ford is a burnout machine. I mean, it’s clearly a very competitive car in IMSA, but it’s just epic at destroying tires on command.

If either Billy Johnson or teammate Scott Maxwell gets bored in the offseason, I have two words of advice: .
