The Chevrolet Niva is not a vehicle that will likely make its way to our shores, but it caught our eye as we were browsing through the latest offerings from the 2014 Moscow motor show.
Its pretty cool to see a small SUV going the full rugged route with a snorkel, big BF Goodrich off road tyres, a winch and roof rack. Back those up with a matte black paintwork scheme and some spotlights and you have a bad-ass looking SUV.
The engine reduces its off-road credentials a bit as its powered by a 1.8-litre petrol engine with a five-speed gearbox. Four-wheel drive is done with a locked differential.
Still in concept phase, the Chevrolet Niva will likely start selling in 2016.
