The all-newCitroen C4 Aircross has been added to the French automakers lineup. The Aircross is the first compact SUV from Citroen to enter the South African SUV market and is available in three trim levels namely Attraction, Seduction and Exclusive.
Engine Power and Transmission
All Citroën C4 Aircross variants are fitted with a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 113kW with 198Nm of torque. The Attraction and Seduction models exhibit five-speed manual transmission while the Seduction and top of the range Exclusive are available with continuously variable automatic transmission.
Interior and Styling
The five-seater Aircross features a raised driving position with the cabin controls ergonomically and efficiently arranged around the driver. Interior features include manual air conditioning for the Attraction model while the other variants feature climate control, automatic headlight and windscreen wiper switching and rear parking sensors.
The Citroen C4 Aircross is 4.43 meters in length and features a spacious interior with numerous storage compartments. Ample luggage space of 384 litres is offered and foldable rear seats further increase space for additional luggage items.
Handling and Safety Features
The Citroen C4 Aircross offers the choice of either two-wheel or four-wheel drive and the running gear has been fined tuned to offer notable ride comfort and road hold. Safety features include anti-skid ABS brakes with Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA) fitted as standard on all models. The Exclusive model features Electronic Stability Programme (ESP).
The Citroen C4 Aircross range is covered by a 3-year/100 000km warranty and a 5 year/ 100 000km service plan with the option to upgrade the warranty to 5-years/100 000km, while FreeDrive includes the extended warranty and also incorporates a 100 000km maintenance plan.
