Since the this week, the internet has been embroiled in discussions about the series to date. This, of course, includes the : , who to declare that he “tried” Grand Theft Auto V, but couldn’t get into “doing crime.”

This is an interesting statement, from a man whose career is studded with than . He’s been , investigated for , and his car company has . Hurting real people is fine, it seems, so long as no video game cops are caught in the crossfire.

The game section Musk describes here seem to be the flashback opening to Grand Theft Auto 5, in which the player participates in a bank heist. Curiously, Musk only mentions the police officers shot — not the mechanic in which the player can instill fear into civilian bank tellers by aiming a gun at them as a threat to their lives. Of course, the heist itself is also a crime, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue for Musk — the bank vault has to be emptied for the police to show up, so we know he made it that far.

Musk apparently purchased a game named for a crime, then committed multiple other crimes in it before meeting his breaking point: Being asked to kill virtual cops. Perhaps there’s some interesting prioritization to read into those actions — Musk had no issue following the game until it asked him to act against society’s disciplinarians. Punching down, whether against frightened bank tellers or , seems to be fine.

There is, admittedly, a second option: Perhaps Musk, , just got to the game’s first combat section and discovered he sucked shit.

At $1,800, Could This 1969 Triumph TR6 Project Be The Perfect Cure For Cabin Fever This Winter?
We all know that it’s a bad idea to buy someone else’s project, but what about buying your own project? Today’s TR6 is just that opportunity, that is if its price proves project oriented. You know, I really don’t get certain holiday songs. I mean, I’m totally down with Wham’s...

For $2,200, Would You Buy This Friggin’ 2001 Saab 9-3 Viggen?
Today’s Saab has an ouchie—one of its alloy wheels needs fixing/replacing. That’s easy enough, but let’s see if the rest of the car comes with a price tag that has you wincing in pain. Have you ever gone to a movie and had it turn out to be completely different...

I Need A Cheap Car With Three Pedals And A Good Warranty! What Car Should I Buy?
James is a college student who’s tired of working on his old Chevy Blazer. His folks are going to help him get another car, but they say it has to have a good warranty. James, naturally, still wants something manual and sporty. What car should he buy? (Welcome back to...

I Found A Way To Have Fun In The 2017 Toyota RAV4: Off-Road The Shit Out Of It
The sitting in front of me covered in bugs (turns out New England has a lot of bugs) certainly did not fit the archetype of what I thought of as a “rally car.” Populating the roads running along the rolling hills of Maine and New Hampshire I had spotted the...

At $4,000, Does This 2001 Audi TT Drophead Make You Green With Envy?
The Audi TT once had an issue with its high speed handling. That had supposedly been addressed by the time today’s convertible was built, however. We’ll still need to address how to handle the price tag on this very green German machine. Have you ever heard of “chrome cancer?” That’s...

The building blocks for autonomous cars are already here, but so far the biggest step into that world for actual consumers has been Tesla’s . Now General Motors is going there too with a semiautonomous highway driving feature called Super Cruise, available on the new . Questions about how it...
