Fellow nerds, get ready to open your wallets, because I’ve found what may be the greatest store of all time. With designs from Formula 1 teams like , you’re sure to find something that fits your particular nostalgic niche. I’d like to introduce you to Racing Retro.

I first heard of this company a while ago, but only in extremely brief passing, and never with any intention of spending money on what I assumed would be prohibitively expensive merchandise. Then a friend sent me a link to the site, and I found myself hooked. And not merely hooked, but actively geeking out.

My particular nerdy passion in the racing world is vintage Formula 1 — basically anything before 1977, but most especially the late 1960s and early 1970s. That usually involves a lot of digging through old archives and unearthing candid photos of drivers and team personnel on Tumblr, and one of my most coveted items quickly became a Jochen Rindt Fan Club t-shirt sported by the likes of everyone from to . Guess what, besties? .

ME! I'M THE JOCHEN RINDT FAN! I NEED TO JOIN THE CLUB!

Maybe you’re also a big F1 trivia buff. Maybe you, like me, absolutely love to talk about our good pal , the only driver to fail to qualify, fail to finish, and then get disqualified from a race. Guess what? .

Or perhaps your interests trend a little more modern. Maybe you recall the arrest of Bertrand Gachot for literally spraying a taxi driver in the face with CS gas, which is a prohibited substance in the United Kingdom. Gachot was arrested and charged with both possession of a prohibited weapon and Actual Bodily Harm, and as a result, he had to miss the 1991 Belgian Grand Prix. So, what did fellow racer Pascal Witmeur do? He organized a support campaign involving flags, shirts, and literal on-track graffiti begging authorities to Free Gachot. Yep, .

Honestly, so many of these shirts scratch an itch for what I can only describe as niche, high-quality content that can also double as a meme. There’s a shirt proclaiming in honor of the ill-fated Life Racing Engines team. There’s an Arturo Merzario shirt, except instead of the man himself driving the car, it’s just . Hell, there are even some pretty fantastic IndyCar shirts, including an amazing design in the exact Zink Pink color used on Bob Sweikert’s 1955 machine. And even if you’re not totally sure about the context of the design, each sale page includes a little explanation regarding its etymology. Now that is the kind of inclusive fan-forward content I like to see.

Now excuse me while I go spend all my money on Peter Revson merch.

Jeff Gordon's Team Wore Temporary Rolex Tattoos To Win Real Ones At Daytona
You know the phrase “act like you’ve been there?” That’s sort of what the Wayne Taylor Racing team did to win one of the famous Rolexes that go to winners of the 24 Hours of Daytona. They all decided—yes, including Daytona-only teammate Jeff Gordon—to wear temporary tattoos of the Rolex...

Our First Look Inside The Porsche 911 RSR Shows How The 911 Went Mid-Engine
Porsche has been extremely guarded about what’s behind the black louvered panel that hides the new 911 RSR’s engine bay. Under that panel, Porsche made the best use of the 911's meager backseat space by stuffing in a 510-horsepower endurance racing flat-six engine to make the RSR they use for...

On Friday afternoon, Donald Trump signed an executive order that from entering the United States. Many, including , are speaking out against it. Here Is Your 2017 Rolex 24 Hours At Daytona MEGA ÜBER Gallery
The 2017 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona was my first time covering a 24-hour race. A massive field, a giant track, 20 cautions, and a million pit stops. Endurance races are not for the weak, whether you’re on a team or covering it. Conditions were insane. It was cold and...

Some Glorious Weirdo Made A Twitter Account For This BMW Race Car's Crotch Belt
The anti-submarine belt (or “crotch belt,” since it goes between your legs) tops of the list of car parts I hope never, ever become sentient. Yet someone made a Twitter account for exactly that part of the No. 96 Turner Motorsport BMW M6 GT3 over Daytona weekend. I’m disturbed, but...weirdly...

The Jeff Gordon-Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac Prototype Dream Team Won The Rolex 24
Cadillac’s return to prototype racing was indeed triumphant, with Cadillac DPi-V.Rs taking first and second place at Daytona. First place went to none other than the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing team who invited retired NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon to race with them this year at Daytona. However, some risky...
