I Need This Perfect 126-Mile 1990 Corvette ZR-1 In My Life
I Need This Perfect 126-Mile 1990 Corvette ZR-1 In My Life-February 2024

The haters wanna hate, hate, hate on the fourth-generation Chevrolet Corvette, but I think it's actually a pretty interesting machine, and one that successfully moved a legendary nameplate into the modern era. And of all C4 Corvettes, none stand above the mighty Corvette ZR-1.

Developed with aid from Lotus and equipped with a Mercury Marine-built 5.7-liter LT5 V8 engine, the ZR-1 was an incredibly high tech sports car and a legitimate exotic-fighter. That V8 put out 375 horsepower, which was a hell of a lot back in the early 1990s (and is nothing to sneeze at today, if I do say so myself.)

Now's your chance to not only own a ZR-1, but a perfect, time capsule-grade ZR-1 with just 126 miles on the odometer. Sweet sassy molassy, get out the checkbook and pay grandma for the rub down!

The car in question is , where it's going for just $31,100 as of this writing. The seller, Paramount Classic Cars in North Carolina, list no reserve, but are offering it straight up .

It seems like a fair price to me for a car that has every shot at being a collector's item, and also deserves to be driven in a most angry, rapid fashion. Any takers out there?

Hat tip to !

I bought maybe the cheapest Porsche 996 Turbo—that’s right, —on the market a year ago, and I’ve mostly been happily stacking miles on the odometer since then. I have been working on making the car my own with a period-correct set of wheels, some extra carbon trim, and a...

Crappy Jack Stands Can Kill You, But Which Ones Are Safe?
Everyone who has worked on their own car has likely heard approximately one million times that you should and that it’s only safe once that vehicle is resting securely on jack stands. ? Given how relatively simple jack stands are and the fact that they have to do one job...
