This Is How You Drive A Subaru
This Is How You Drive A Subaru-June 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:25

As snow falls outside my window, now is a good time to remind you all that there is a right way to drive a Subaru: on the limit at all times, sideways.

Above is the late ripping the tarmac rally Tour de Course back in 1993. He’s at the wheel not of an Impreza, not a WRX, not an STI. It’s a Group A Legacy RS, sounding and driving like every Subaru should.

Remind me to build up one of these cars when I have the time and money and skill. They are bricks of pure cool.

Porsche's Unrestricted Le Mans Car Beat A 35-Year-Old Nürburgring Lap Record By Nearly A Minute
The is the kind of delightful vehicular creation that happens when you let engineers run free without having to adhere to strict series regulations. It is ludicrously fast, and 919 driver Timo Bernhard just destroyed the Nordschelife track record with a time of time of 5:19.546—nearly an entire minute faster...

Why Porsche Destroying The All-Time Nürburgring Lap Record By 51.58 Seconds Is Such A Big Deal
Why Porsche Destroying The All-Time Nürburgring Lap Record By 51.58 Seconds Is Such A Big Deal
It sounds unbelievable for any car to lap the 12.94-mile Nürburgring Nordschleife course in only 5:19.546. The went 51.58 seconds faster than the former overall lap record, with an average speed of 145.3 mph. What’s even weirder, though, is that the last record remained unbeaten for over 35 years, and...

This Retaliation-Filled NASCAR Finish Was The Best
Nothing was normal about the race at Chicagoland Speedway on Sunday, including that a driver who had a 12th-place car most of the race wound up with a lead so big he was almost sure to win. But that was just the beginning, and led to some of the best...
