This Is How You Drive A Subaru
This Is How You Drive A Subaru-August 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:25

As snow falls outside my window, now is a good time to remind you all that there is a right way to drive a Subaru: on the limit at all times, sideways.

Above is the late ripping the tarmac rally Tour de Course back in 1993. He’s at the wheel not of an Impreza, not a WRX, not an STI. It’s a Group A Legacy RS, sounding and driving like every Subaru should.

Remind me to build up one of these cars when I have the time and money and skill. They are bricks of pure cool.

Bubba Wallace’s No. 6 Ford Mustang stock car overheated during today’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Road America, and decided it wanted to become an old-timey steam train instead. Who needs a temperature gauge when a giant stack of steam can just rise out of the hood? Fortunately for the...

Scott Dixon Gives The Two-Bird Salute After Gnarly IndyCar Crash At Texas
After the rear of Ed Carpenter’s car touched the front corner of Scott Dixon’s IndyCar at Texas Motor Speedway, Dixon spun out of control and into the wall. Dixon, of course, let Carpenter know he was just fine (but mad) in everyone’s favorite way: with two middle fingers up. Dixon...

God Smites Race By Opening Up The Heavens, Sending Cars Out Of Control
God Smites Race By Opening Up The Heavens, Sending Cars Out Of Control
Break out the ark. Conditions at today’s Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge race at Virginia International Raceway went from “awesome, rain!” to Old Testament-grade punishment in a matter of minutes. Normally we wouldn’t think twice about a wet race, but this one almost completely hid the cars. High winds and...
