DustyVentures seems to be occupied, so here's your Truck Yeah! roundup of the ninth stage at Dakar.
The video above is the truck and quad summary, and here are the puny "cars" and bikes:
Looks like the Russians Karginov, Mokeev, and Devyatkin in the Red Bull Kamaz were faster than De Rooy's Iveco once again, closing the gap on the teal truck ahead. Kamaz had the #1, #3, and #4 spots at the end of the stage with Iveco in second.
Stéphane Peterhansel crushed it again coming in at #1 his MINI ALL4, with teammate Nasser Al-Attiyah 2:17 behind at #2. Positions #3 and #4 were also MINIs... they're not messing around.
Robby Gordon fell out of the top ten after getting stuck in soft sand. He was almost two hours behind Peterhansel when he completed the stage.
Cyril Despres had his first stage win on his Yamaha, but leader Marc Coma maintained "near-perfect riding" to keep his top spot in the overall standings.
Dutchman Husseini led the quads on his Honda, three Yamahas were about half a minute behind.
