Lamborghini Finally Gets Serious About Racing With Huracán GT3
Lamborghini Finally Gets Serious About Racing With Huracán GT3-July 2024
2024-02-19 EST 22:11:49

If you've ever wondered why pants-on-face-bonkers supercar manufacturer Lamborghini doesn't really have a factory racing effort, well, they're about to fix that. They're developing a for FIA GT3 racing. You're welcome.

Lamborghini has dabbled in racing for years, both with the one-make as well as giving some support to the team of , who have run Diablos, Gallardos and Murciélagos in the past.

Remember the Gallardo Super Trofeo? That was an all-wheel drive car with 570 horsepower. The new…

This entry from Lamborghini places it head-to-head (or rather, wheel-to-wheel) with the new . I can't wait to see this much awesomeness on one track at once. While we're at it, does anyone else want to announce a new GT3 car today? The more, the merrier.

BMW has been racing the Z4 in GT3 competition since 2010. While it is still cool, it is getting…

The wet-then-dry-then-wet-then-wetter-huh? Last weekend’s IndyCar race was predictably crashy, so it’s always nice to see to see a driver make a nice save for a change. Here’s Juan Pablo Montoya getting a dab of oppo when the rear end of his car got loose exiting pit lane. If there’s anyone...

Dover International Speedway's Concrete Is Falling Apart (Again)
Maybe “falling apart” is a bit of an overstatement, but “crumbling around the edges” is certainly accurate. This isn’t the first time the concrete track surface has been an issue, either. This time, it was the pit lane that started to crumble apart at the seam. The September 2014 race...

43 Seconds With Ken Block Is The Best 43 Seconds You'll Spend All Week
Mister Kenny From The Block had a good weekend at the Global Rallycross season opener. He took first place in his glorious number 43 , and summed up the weekend in 43 impossibly loud, sideways, high-flying seconds. Crank up the volume and enjoy. The space car looks even better when...

Two Stand-In Drivers Finished In Top Six At Chaotic IndyCar Detroit Race
Rain is a blessing and a curse, both in the messy race it produced today at the Belle Isle Grand Prix as well as the tendency for rain to throw unexpected entries into higher than usual entries. Today, two substitute drivers—Tristan Vautier and Conor Daly—got into 4th and 6th place,...

Wile E. Coyote-Inspired Jet Powered Time Attack Mini Can't Turn, Crashes
Who would have ever thought this was a good idea? Take a nice, nimble Mini Cooper and stuff it full of jet engine. It looks like it belongs on an episode of “Looney Tunes.” Will it still turn? Erm, no. The Mini was entered in a Time Attack at Snetterton...
