What you see in the video is Lamborghini's racing team Squadra Corse carrying out the first shakedown. Set to be a limited-edition track-only hypercar, this new Lamborghini will have a naturally-aspirated 6.5-litre V12 motor developing around 620 kW. interestingly, the project is claimed to be co-developed bySquadra Corse and Centro Stile Lamborghini, so you know it's going to be properly engineered for race circuits.
The new Lamborghini will feature a large rear wing, airscoop on the roof and a racing hood with dual air intakes – things you won't find on Lamborghini's road-going range. The copy supplied with the video also made mention ofan aluminium front frame and a carbon fibre monocoque, as well asan innovative self-locking type differential which allows better driveability on the circuit. Rubber is to be supplied by Pirelli and the wheels are single-nut units.
Lamborghini and Squadra Corse are aiming to reveal the new track-toy later in 2020.
