2024-02-19 EST 22:13:29

Stage 13 is the last of the 2014 Dakar, and the trucks are the last vehicles to run through. We'll be updating stats as racers come through the four waypoints and on top the podium, so keep refreshing this page!

(Update 1:20 PM EST)

Andrey Karginov & Team Kamaz Master declared winners by 3:11 after time was re-assessed due to a car accident hindering their effort.

Update (12:35 PM EST)

Update (12:29 PM EST)

De Rooy's Iveco is first across the finish line, Karginov has not yet appeared. It seems his Kamaz was "hindered" by an accident during the special stage, and this might have polluted the "legitimacy" of his time. We'll see what officials say when he's reached the finish.

Update (11:45 AM EST)

From Dakar's communication office: "Anton Shibalov has moved ahead of Gerard de Rooy by a puny 8', with third-placed Eduard Nikolaev a further 6' back. The gap between De Rooy and Andrey Karginov now seems stable, with the overall leader 1'52' behind the Dutchman's Iveco, which is his direct rival for the general classification."

Kamaz picked up some time and came through WP4 right after Iveco, but still trails behind by almost ten minutes in the stage. Karginov will have to pick up 2:16 over the last section of the final stage if he wants that top podium spot.

1. LOPRAIS (Tatra) 001:59:26

2. DE ROOY (Iveco) 002:01:29 (+ 00:02:03)

Andrey Karginov has lost 2'23" in the first 41 kilometres... If he doesn't wake up, the truck classification could well slip away from him!"
