Well, we have seen the new Mercedes-Benz X-Class with our own eyes and from first impressions, it's not radically different from the Nissan Navara double-cab bakkie upon which it is based.
According to one of the crew, we're in a snazzy hipster bar. Security is exceptionally tight and our phone cameras have been taped over, to prevent early leaks. Just before we got here, Mercedes-Benz released two more teaser images, just to hype us over even more. Just under two hours to go…
We have checked into the venue and are ready to witness this important vehicle reveal. The last of the camera batteries are charging and our crew will be filming some videos. The hype around this Mercedes-Benz X-Class is insane and interest unparalleled. It is one of the few vehicles which the public are obsessed with, and if the reaction to the concept vehicles revealed in Sweden not so long ago is anything to go by, we're in for a big one.
Here's a recap of what we know so far about the Mercedes-Benz X-Class.
